Alfred Odom was born in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from Bernard Baruch College in 1988, he attended St. John’s University School of Law. During law school, he served as an intern in the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York. Upon graduating law school in June of 1991, Mr. Odom worked as a Hearing Officer with the NYC Board of Education.
Shortly thereafter, he joined a prominent New York City firm engaging in civil litigation. Over the years, Mr. Odom has developed an extensive legal background and handles a variety of cases involving Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Business Law, and Civil Litigation. With over twenty-five years of legal experience and committed to excellence in the representation of each client, Mr. Odom has represented individuals in their estate/tax planning, churches in acquiring tax and other exemptions, individuals in filing for an estate administration, and assisted businesses and individuals in litigation. Lawyer Odom has also obtained significant settlements and verdicts over the years representing families of wrongful death victims and people injured due to the negligence of others.
